My Approach — My Commitment to You

I pride myself on actively listening to your needs while aggressively defending your legal interests. I keep you fully informed at each stage of the proceedings, I provide education based advice, and I aim for a solution that fits your individual needs. From time to time, I may even persuade you to follow a particular course of action. You, however, remain in control. I always make it clear that "I'm just the lawyer" and that the decision-making power rests with you. In other words, I guide but you lead.

On a personal level, I treat you with the dignity and respect that we all deserve from one another. I speak to you as I would any friend or neighbour. In addition to helping you identify and achieve your legal objective, I also have the task of getting you through the criminal process with your sanity in tact, and, hopefully, of surviving it a little wiser and stronger. If, after our first meeting, you do not feel that I am 100% behind you in a very personal way, you should not hire me.

Working on your case, I am passionate and relentless. I leave no stone unturned. Even a 1% chance of success deserves a 100% effort. That's my promise to you. Many times I have persisted, and, despite what appeared to be overwhelming odds, I achieved exactly what my client wanted, and sometimes even better (see Seth's case).
